Meanwhile, Izzit only in my house this happens -
Ah wee cook soup and meat for the week. By Thursday, to find meat go be Ultimate search.
Soup go remain, meat don finish.
Ah don't wantu accuse anybody o.
Bhet one man laidat wee make swallow when the whole world ees sleeping.
He wee warm soup and take 4 meat.
He wee say he works late and gets hungry after dinner.
I sha dinnor call anybody's name.
When I do 'toko-taya' on my freezer and start padlocking, nobody shud call my name.
God is love.
And God is not foolish.
If you are loving foolishly, I don't know where you got that kind of 'love' o.
Jesus loved the Pharisees, but He never accepted nor tolerated their hypocrisy, wickedness or selfishness.
He always called them out and told them the truth.
And He did not keep them in His circle.
So, all of you that want to be more Jesus than Jesus, may you receive wisdom this year.
Stop staying in toxic relationships!
Love them, but love yourself first.
You cannot give what you don't have.
God loves you and wants you to be happy.
So go to Him and be truthful.
"Father, I have no joy or peace in my relationship. Help me"
And let me just tell you now, getting things right depends on your obedience to God.
All the prayers in the world cannot help you if you don't obey God.
Faith without works don kpeme teytey.
Una good morin o

This is Akara 101 for Beginners 😁
That is why I made it as basic as possible.
Let me give you the major bullet points:
1 - You can use any type of beans, but white beans will always give you fluffier beans. I have tested orisirisi beans with akara. White beans is the clear winner.
2 - After peeling (or if you choose not to peel) soak the beans for about 4hrs to soften and swell. See how it's soft enough for me to cut with my fingers. That's what you want. I usually leave overnight.
But to have beans readily available - peel in bulk, wash and freeze in portions. When you want to use, bring out and pour water on it. By the time it defrosts, it will be soft enough.
Again, white beans softens and swells better.
3 - You can blend with your choice of peppers. Add your garlic or ginger if you want. You are very free.
But please, only tiny water. It must be thick and smooth. Not watery.
You need a strong blender for this.
4 - The most important aspect of fluffy akara is the whisking. You can use orogun (turning stick), hand whisk or mixer. Just try to whisk it as much as you can.
Growing up, that was another of my duties, using orogun. My arms suffered ehn.
5 - Until you are perfect, minimise the use of spices and seasonings. The more you add, the more watery the beans batter will be, the more your akara will soak oil, the flatter it will be.
6 - Akara is deep frying! That means lots of oil. If you are on fitfam, do akara pancake or akara waffles or akara toast. But for this akara, you need the oil!
7 - Drop in onions into your oil to test the hotness. If the onions doesn't start frying immediately (with tiny bubbles around it), it's not hot enough. If it sizzles too loudly and starts burning almost immediately, it's too hot.
Practice makes perfect.
8 - Drop the beans batter close to the oil. Don't let it splash inside. Apart from burning you, it can deflate the akara.
When you drop it, it should float to the top immediately.
9 - Fry the akara on medium heat. Too low, it will soak oil. Too high, it will burn outside before getting done inside.
You can be adjusting your fire while frying
Toh! Anything else?

I look to the mountains; where will our help come from?
Our help will come from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
He will not let us fall; our protector is always awake.
The Protector of my family never dozes or sleeps.
The LORD will guard us; He is by our side to protect us.
The sun will not hurt us during the day, nor the moon during the night.
The LORD will protect us from all danger; He will keep us safe.
He will protect us as we come and go, now and for ever.
Thank you so much to everyone who praised and prayed with my family and I on my last post.
God will protect and keep us all.
No disaster will befall anyone of us and our loved ones.

I want to share this to testify of God's faithfulness and to beg us to please be sensitive and obedient to the Holy Spirit.
A couple of weeks back, I had a dream that there was a gas explosion in my house.
I jerked awake and told my husband. We just said a quick 'I reject it in Jesus name' and moved on.
It was a busy day for me, but intermittently all through the day, I'll hear a quiet voice in my spirit "Pray against fire"
I'll say a quick prayer and move on.
Then at night, as we did our family prayer, Le Hub was leading, I told him to pray against fire and he did.
But as I was about to sleep, my spirit was very uneasy. I asked God - "What is it, Father?"
And He replied "Stand up in the authority I have given you and rebuke fire in your home"
At that point, I knew this was no longer an ordinary thing.
I immediately stood up and armed with Bible verses, I entered warfare mode.
I prayed in power and authority till I felt peace.
I knew the battle had been won so I told my husband - it's settled, and I went to sleep.
Very early this morning, my people came to clean the house and especially my kitchen and the cooking studio.
When they finished, I was lying down in the sitting room.
My nose kept twitching at a weird smell but I couldn't place what it was.
I said maybe it's the combination of all their cleaning soaps.
About 30mins later, just now, I got up to warm moinmoin to eat.
I entered the kitchen and was about to press the lighter when I just bent down (I don't know why till now) and I heard a quiet 'psssssss' and the smell of gas hit my nose.
The big burner was turned on. And gas was escaping.
I quietly turned it off.
I put down the lighter.
And I went to tell my Father "Thank you. Thank you so much. I'm so grateful I have you watching out for me"
Please, help me praise Him.
He alone is worthy of my thanks.
I cannot praise Him enough.
