  • 🧡Technique Tuesday: Bodyweight Squats🏋️‍♀️⁣⁣
    ⁣⁣
    This week’s technique Tuesday is bodyweight squats and how to properly perform them from the ground up ⚡️⁣⁣
    ⁣⁣
    ✅Your main focus needs to start with the feet 🦶 “from the ground up”— start with your feet about shoulder width apart based on what’s comfortable⁣⁣
    ⁣⁣
    ✅Remain stabilized through your heel & midsole with your toes not leaving the ground 💪⁣⁣
    ⁣⁣
    ✅Avoid your knees “knocking” or caving at any point in the concentric or eccentric portion of the squat⁣⁣
    ⁣⁣
    ✅As you start the squat, reach back with your hips naturally as if you you are sitting onto a chair while maintaining a neutral spine⁣⁣
    ⁣⁣
    ✅Drawn your belly button in to stabilize your core⁣⁣
    ⁣⁣
    ✅Reach a comfortable depth for you— from here you want to use your power to start the top half of the movement through your rooted feet & finish the last portion of the squat by squeezing your glutes 🍑 at the top⁣⁣
    ⁣⁣
