What’s a holiday season without a little snow, right?❄️✨ Here’s a #tbt for Day 6 of #25corgdaystilxmas !🎄 If there’s snow, Charlie will be playing outside for hours.. Snowstorm with inches of snow? Even better! 😄 Do you prefer the summer or winter? ☃️☀️

  • John Snow is arguably one of the greatest doctors of all time. Most notably he made the connection between cholera and infected water, much to the scepticism of the rest of the medical establishment. In 1849 alone, 53,000 Londoners died of the disease.
A replica of the water pump at the core of John Snow’s findings has been moved backed to its original location (just visible bottom right of frame). I wonder as a teetotaller how he would feel about having a pub named after him.
I also find it quite neat that he was a vegan, well before the word existed. I can only imagine what people would have made of that in the 1800s.
