  • Though black and white photography is what he’s known for, Peterson doesn’t necessarily define himself by that choice. As he once told My Modern Met ‘To me, my photos aren’t about black and white at all. I am trying to capture the human emotion, make the viewer feel something. Black and white helps focus on that emotion - colour is one less thing to be in the way of seeing the feeling’. @jasonmpeterson @weare.thetimes

    Com tamanhos e miolos diferentes o que os une é essa costura, que eu acho linda demais!! .
    É com muito carinho que estou encerrando esse ciclo.

    O da foto é um dos últimos disponíveis dessa temporada. A ideia é dar um tempo, viver outras histórias e recomeçar trazendo algo diferente. .
    Mudanças fazem parte do caminho - ver o novo no mesmo - e o mesmo no novo.

    In the past 3 years I’ve made more or less 100 leather journals. With different sizes and themes they share the same stitches. .
    There comes a time in life when we feel the need to change, to open space in our lives to host new experiences. .
    So, what you see above is one of the last journals of the season. After that i’ll take some time to learn something new, accept new challenges.. who knows what’s coming next? 😊

  • 🏃‍♂️Exercise ‘snacks’ make fitness easier: Researchers find short bouts of stairclimbing throughout the day can boost health 🏃‍♂️ According to new research from kinesiologists at McMaster University and UBC Okanagan, a few minutes of stair climbing, at short intervals throughout the day, can improve cardiovascular health.
    One group of sedentary young adults vigorously climbed a three-flight stairwell, three times per day, separated by one to four hours of recovery.  They repeated the protocol three times each week over the course of six weeks. The researchers compared the change in their fitness to a control group which did not exercise. “Vigorously climbing a few flights of stairs on your coffee or bathroom break during the day seems to be enough to boost fitness in people who are otherwise sedentary,” says Jonathan Little, assistant professor at UBC’s Okanagan campus and study co-author.

    Future research is needed to evaluate the effectiveness of different exercise “snacks,” exactly how long the exercises should last and the resting intervals between.
