  • Pigeon pose is a wonderful asana to open hips! It can also open the chest and shoulders when you keep the torso upright rather than folding. So many pigeon variations to choose from for Day 7 of #RenewYogis 💥 This is a great asana for renewal and detoxification, especially in winter mode when you might feel more tense in the body.

    If you are feeling it a bit too much in the hips, bring a block underneath your glute to sit on for the front leg. This will help square your pelvis forward by allowing the hips a bit more space.

  • Using my new sage bundle and marble smudge dish from @scout.and.gem 😍 My favorite time to burn sage is during yoga or meditation because it calms my mind and smells SO GOOD. Also, if you’re not into the burning then you could use the dish for jewelry :)

  • Anyone who knows my practice knows how much I love inversions🤸‍♀️. I am thrilled to be teaching an Inversions for All workshop on Saturday, February 2nd from 1:00pm-2:30pm at South Street Yoga and Nutrition in Morristown.

    The practice of inversions is a truly exciting, rewarding and humbling journey. In this workshop we will explore various tools and prep work to safely invert our bodies while learning proper alignment and muscular engagement. Most importantly we will play and have fun!

  • I am exhausted! Today I flowed to one of @amandabisk YouTube videos (the yoga sculpt one), did @alexisren 10 min butt video, and finished off with some @ab_asanas drills. I was starving after my workout so I ate the huge sugar cookie that I was saving for my boyfriend. 😂 I can’t wait to get back to my house and take a nap!
