    The truth is I’m running on coffee this week

    Look
    A 20 power minute walk in the fresh U.K. winter air can be a good way to stop drinking coffee or even just take your mind away from a craving you’re having

    I did this for 20 minutes. Once.
    Then I decided I like coffee too much

    There are certain things which you do which you probably don’t want to stop

    Depending how happy you are doing them and the effect it has, depends on wether or not you’ll continue to do them

    For me, I like my coffee

    There are plenty of ways for me to replace it to feel emerged, but I simply like it

    This is a common short sighted view for things having a negative impact in our lives
    I do believe coffee has health benefits, so continue to drink it
    However if this was something which was seriously going to make things suck long term for me
    Like stress eating or something which has an impact on other areas of my life, relationships, mood, body and the way I feel
    I’d need to make a change
    Motivation is low right now for me to change this
    But think about it

    Motivation is a feeling right?

    As you probably know we can't really control our feelings a lot of the time

    If we could then we would choose to never feel anything but good
    But we don’t
    So if motivation is a feeling and we can't control our feelings, then, to put simply

    We are fucked if we try and do things based on motivation 😂
    So the aim of this ramble is to tell you to NOT rely on motivation to do things
    I bet you don’t feel motivation to do your teeth
    But you still do your teeth

    Don’t rely on motivation to start going to the gym or eating the way you know you should
    Just do it

    You could just start

    You should just start

    And you CAN start

I’ve known @jzavatsky16 for 6 years now and I’ve never met anyone who has given her as much unconditional love and support than @aaronclemans has.   • Working with supplements in hand .... why take supplements for every stage in our life along with any root cause we need more then just food to give us all the nutrients, balance and antioxidants we need daily for our health & preventive care. So that’s why supplements are essential also it is important to know the ingredients just like the food we have to read labels and that also in-tales the brand makers ( sadly some have been bought out by companies I wouldn’t buy food from therefore I will not be buying the supplements either) I’m pretty picky with them because my husband works in that industry and has in depth knowledge that he has taught me so much more details then I already knew . Below is my A.M. vitamins routine : 🍎Omega Genics ( metagenics). 🍎Photo Multi ( metagenics)
    🍎TH1 & 2 modulator( pure encapsulations) this is for thyroid and should be only taken directed by a Functional Medicine Practitioner. 🍎Turmeric with Meriva ( Thorne)

    DYK Avocado🥑Pits/Nuts/Seeds are Full of Antioxidants! Keep them (if Organic), dry until outer shell peels off easily and you will have a soft peachy colour pit. Just throw in your Smoothie, Grate into your Salads and Dishes🥑

  • Avocado toast ain’t basic if you doctor it up with goodies 🤓🥑. I’ve been obsessed with coming up with fun ways of making avo toast more of a meal and this version with black bean spread was 🔥.

    First blend 1/4 cup of black beans with 1-2 tbsp of your favorite salsa until it’s the texture you want (more salsa = thinner & more liquidy while less salsa = thick & creamy). Spread the final black bean paste onto toasted bread (I love @foodforlifebaking), top with avocado, nutritional yeast, fresh herbs (I’m in a parsley phase 💁🏼‍♀️) and anything else you want - I loved it with some kraut (another weird obsession atm). This avo toast is vegan, but packs a ton of added protein and tastes like a fiesta in your mouth. Yes I said that 👈🏻.

  • I never appreciated how long it would actually take to get to where I want to be. It’s been about 2 years since I first decided to try doing weights in the gym. It’s affected my body and mind in ways that I could never imagine. Look forward to the years of progress ahead 👌👌

In other words, because in their family history there are instances of heart disease, arthritis or cancer, there is nothing that they can do to prevent themselves from getting these diseases.

    ☝🏼In fact recent research has shown that genetics contributes only about 30% to disease susceptibility while an individual”s environment contributes upwards of 70%. So, as long as these genes are turned OFF, you are safe.

    🤨Now, you might be asking yourself, what is it that turns these switches “ON”?
    The answer is several factors contribute: • STRESS • PHYSICAL TRAUMA • ENVIRONMENTAL TOXINS • NUTRITION

    🤯The truth is that our genes are being changed moment by moment by the environment of our thoughts and feelings as well as the environment of our families, homes, work, friends and where we live. We assign mental and emotional meaning to facts that are as important to gene activation as the facts themselves. Even the thoughts you are having about the coming week are wired into your brain and act as stimulus for genetic expression.

    👉🏼So, if we become more aware that our environment – the physical, social, political, and economic surroundings – greatly influences how much we eat and how active we are. We can continue living our life the same way, or we can make a change now to ensure good health for years to come.

    When we remove coffee we invite in a plethora of amazing new herbal teas and kombucha; when we remove sugar we invite in natural sweeteners like honey and dates that open up new recipes; when we remove alcohol we invite in memorable evenings followed by hang-over free mornings to focus on US!
