  • Here is thw Recipe for the buckwheat pizza based I made yesterday 🍕
    This makes approx 4 x 12" bases. I like to make my pretty thin and crispy so you can really taste the topping.
    2 x cups of buckwheat flour
    3 x tbs tapioca flour
    1/3 cup of olive oil (add this slowly and mix)
    1 x tbs apple cider vinegar
    3x tbs of herbs ( I used fresh sage, oregano, sea salt and dried thyme)
    1 x cup of water ( you may need to add a little more if the paste is too dry )

    Simply mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Using a spoon or spatula spread mixture onto a baking tray covered in baking paper into the desired shape of your base. You will be surprised at how thin you can make it. Pop it in a preheated oven (200° celcius) cook for 10~15 minutes. Remove from oven and then cover with desired toppings. For a vegan option you can use avocado instead of cheese or simply eliminate the cheese. Bake until topping are the desired heat. I like mine crispy so normally bake for 15 minutes.
