  • We looked out and saw what could have easily been two hundred dolphins. They stretched along the entire horizon, splashing and leaping. It was jaw dropping. I have never seen such a show! It was truly unbelievable.

  • One of our favorite things about living in Seattle is its close proximity to so much.

In the same weekend, we were able to go to the mountains to play in the snow, then spent the next afternoon at the beach enjoying a beautiful winter day. The adventure doesn’t have to be a big one to be a memorable one☺️

  • Death Valley is more than just flat expanses of nothing. My favorite part of the park is up north; the drive from Stovepipe Wells to Lone Pine is unreal. A steep switch-backing road that gains more than 4,000 feet in elevation takes you around massive canyons, through colorful mountains and ultimately brings you to the foothills of the Eastern High Sierras. With golden hour sun like this, it's hard not to love this route.
