- ON MY SHELF 📚
I love to read, and I generally have 2-3 books on the go at any one time. I’m also trying to keep a focus journal, and I spend each evening filling it in, before read long my book. By doing this, I do a bit of a ‘brain dump’ at the same time by writing down anything I need to do the following day alongside anything I need to remember. It helps to reduce any worrying and I find it easier to drift off, knowing that it’ll be there tomorrow 👍
At the moment I’m re-reading Women Who Run With The Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. The is such a great book and a number of short stories I feel every woman needs to read.
I’ve also just started reading Michelle Obama’s book - Becoming Michelle Obama. I am only a few pages in and am already in love with her writing style!

- Day seven and what can I say...I feel more present, in tune with myself and overall lighter than I have felt in a very long time.
I have started my very own morning routine which works for me and I absolutely love, I have mapped my training sessions out and they are going amazingly well and I have started journaling.
I picked up a #focusjournal yesterday along with a @migoals 2019 diary... what was I doing with any other journal until now! This thing is amazing and makes me want to kick ass every day and accomplish things in my personal life 🙌🏼 I have a new respect for journaling and meditating. I mean I have always been into meditating but the past few days, combine with a set morning routine and journaling... I have felt entirely on top of the world.
Something about being able to write how you feel on paper really clears your mind up, and it’s instant. It’s organized. And I like to feel organized.
Here’s to another day done and feeling good, positive and happy.

- So, I finally got myself a planner and I’m glad I chose this #focusjournal from @bdjbuzz 🙏🏻 I actually just ordered this online as I was “cramming” to find myself one because my January schedule is filling up with appointments waiting to be written somewhere. 😅 I bought this because it has the weekly view that I am very particular about, and I was really really pleased with all the focus tools (like checkpoints, reflection prompts, etc) inside! #ocproblems 😍😍😍 I’ve started answering some of the pages already, and of course, I’ve finally written down my appointments and tasks! 😊 ⠀
It’s going to be an exciting year for you dear planner/journal ❤️ You will be intentionally and mindfully filled with goals, strategies, actions, not just for my career but also for my personal and family life. 💃🏻⠀
