  • FACTS💯
    -
Our society tends to focus on surface level achievement.
    -
We ignore the inner achievement. The battle that rages inside us.
    -
We glorify the tip of the iceberg. We forget the roots. We forget the process.
    -
We assume that success is talent or overnight. Or “luck”.
    -
We live in an instant gratification social media bubble that is altering our perception.
    -
The reality is that you must fall in love with the process before you can ever achieve real success.
    -
I enjoy producing content, selling insurance, and working on my ecom store.
    -
I even enjoy the side hustle of Uber driving on the weekend.
    -
I don’t live for the fancy stuff. I grind for FREEDOM and peace of mind.
    -
For the good life, you must first EMBRACE THE PROCESS💯
    -
Do you agree? Well I don’t care because its true.

  • 💥Embrace the process!💥 Your dream may not change, but the process and steps to achieving your dreams must be flexible. The process always gives feedback; listen, and make necessary adjustment(s) in order to achieve your goal. You have to see the process and it's feedback as your friend! Embrace the process!

    .
    | COACHING CUE |
    .
Grocery bag / Car door - “Imagine your arms are full with a bag of groceries and you need to close the car door with your rear.”
    .
This cue can be used to teach the athlete to lead into the squat by sending their hips back, while keeping the chest up.
    .
    Why is this cue important?
    .
🗝 HIPS INITIALLY GO BACK: Before descending, the hips and knees must unlock.
🗝 CHEST STAYS UP: Keeping the chest up helps the athlete maintain the lumbar curve throughout the squat.
    .
I hope you found this valuable. If so,  #repost  or tag someone who needs to see it.

  • Did you know: The first iTunes visualizer was prototyped with Processing by Robert Hodgin (flight404 was his alias at the time, give him a follow @roberthodgin). It was then ported to C++ by Andrew Bell (creator of Cinder - a creative coding toolkit for C++ programmers). He first made this piece for the Danish composer Trentemøller. On his website, he says: “At its core, it [Magnetosphere] is a simple physics system which plays opposing forces against each other. Some elements in the scene have an attractive force, others have a repulsive force, and over time these elements create a dynamic composition as they are pushed about by these invisible forces.

I set up an overnight render for a song by Trentemøller. When I awoke the next morning and viewed it for the first time, I was pleased. I watched it a couple more times and sent the link to my friend Andrew. His response, "Yeah, that'll do well". The thing that is most interesting to me about the video is that it was nearly entirely created with code. I say nearly because I use a couple premade particle images but every other aspect (aside from the music, of course) was made possible with code. And randomness. If I were to recompile the code over and over, the resulting videos would all be unique.” Robert is one of the first artists I came across during my early research as well. His stuff immediately caught my eye - beautiful composition, colors, and engaging physical behaviours. His work explores the applications of theoretical physics, astronomy, particle engines, and audio visualizations to high performance computer graphics.

Guess what he studied? You guessed it… Sculpture @ RISD! That’s a testament to the fact that anybody can learn how to code and make art, but it takes an incredible amount of patience and perseverance to get to levels like this. I aspire to be like him one day. What a stellar artist. Do read about this project over at: → http://roberthodgin.com/portfolio/work/magnetosphere/

  • Behind the smile and her safer bomb daddy lipstick is someone who puts this insane pressure upon herself. Expectations so high that it leads her to frustration and before you know it she burns herself out. It is hard for her to build, live and grow. This year though she will create time for herself, she will meditate 🧘🏻‍♀️, detox with her favorite charcoal mask, listen to @bob_heilig, laugh more, play more of her Bob Marley, dance with @fitzandthetantrums in her kitchen and yes, her light will even shine brighter. She will remove criticism and replace it with love. This woman will find joy everyday and everywhere. She will let go of those expectations and find freedom in authenticity and just being her own unique beauty. She will break through the walls of perfectionism and as Elsa says in my daughter’s favorite movie, she will 🎶 LET IT GO, LET IT GO ☃️

Reflection💭: Sometimes you have to remind yourself of how far you’ve come along your own personal journey. People often equate success by “making it.” Everyone has their own definition of “making it” or once they’ve arrived “there” the feeling of success will be attained. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ •⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀
The true secret to success is fully being aware and understanding complacency will settle in if your “there” never pushes you to that next level of “here.” Meaning, once you’ve reached a goal (there), your AMBITION, DRIVE, & PERSISTENCE should ALWAYS push you all the more to strive for the new phase that will CHALLENGE, GROW, and DEVELOP you (here) to the NEXT LEVEL of your journey. #embracetheprocess

  • The Process was first brought to my attention by @atribecalledrox and I didn’t get it at first because I was so fixated on my vision but my life took me to places that revealed that life happens in the process but may of us miss the opportunity to live our best life because we’re scared of the process.
    :
    :
Don’t be overwhelmed by where you hope you will end up fall in love with the process. Be committed,be honest with yourself about your weaknesses and work on them. An affirmation I’ve placed in many places in my home is #dothework . DO THE WORK. You know what it is that YOU are meant to be doing and your process comes down to YOUR choices. Come on !! You are capable 💛💙🌱 :

  • There’s nothing glamorous about the process. I’m waiting for color to take and thinking about all the other things I could be doing. But the process is what creates the color. It’s necessary. • Isn’t that true of all that we cultivate in life? There’s a process. In the process, things happen... color is created and cured... ideas are birthed and matured... relationships are deepened... dreams are pursued... realized.. expanded... In the process, we are made and remade.
    • The process gives us the chance to rediscover who we are. It also gives us the chance to change. We can do things differently. Some things will take longer than others to cure. The longer the process, the more rich and brilliant the color. • As I sit here, I’m reminded of the power in embracing the process. Sitting. Waiting. Trusting that something is happening even when I can’t see it. • There is purpose in the process. And what can seem like a really long time is just the fulfillment of time. It’s the necessary wait for the right color. • I think God works this way. He keeps us in process for the right shade of brilliant before He releases us. And then, after a season, He processes us again. Releases us again. It’s a beautiful cycle of becoming that makes us more beautiful in time. More like Him in every way. • I get the sense that this is the year of process and purpose aligning in the fullness of time. Color. Brilliance. Release. And as that thought fills my soul, I am so thankful for a process that has taken a lot longer than I ever imagined. It has been good for my soul to learn how to become... and not how to arrive. #embracetheprocess #beautyinthebecoming #becoming #lovetheprocess #processtopurpose #godsplan #godstiming
