Great faith isn’t about how much biblical knowledge you have or how much scripture you can memorize and recite. It is simply knowing how good God is.

And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

  • ▶️17. You will get out of the bed in the morning (with minimal alarm snoozing!).⏰⏰ Getting out of the bed in the morning, especially in the winter months, feels like an impossible task. It’s dark and cold out, and your bed is so comfy. You know you should probably get up early to workout, but that snooze button is much more attractive. However, when we have something new or an exciting task to do in the morning, it is a little easier to actually get out of bed.

The Faith Fitness Fullness Journal/Planner is going to help provide that new and exciting motivation for you! First, you have new and exciting things to learn about every morning in your prayer and journal time. You can be going through a book of the bible or a devotional book and keep all your thoughts and lessons you have learned in one place. The earlier you get up, the more time you will have to spend on this.

Second, you have an exciting list of new goals (long term goals broken down into smaller monthly goals) that you want to accomplish. I know this is my biggest motivation. What I do is I do my daily top three and my other to-do list items the night before at the say time I do my daily reflection. This way I am thinking about the endless possibilities for the next day and all that I can get done. When my alarm goes off, I remember that to do list and get up. It’s important to not be anxious about how much is on the to do list, but exciting about all that you can accomplish for your own personal development.
I also recommend reading The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod.

  • i want to create a journal that will give others a safe place to write out their own story... a safe place for women to find their own joy written somewhere between the scribbles and the to do list... i want this journal to be lined with pages that give someone the courage to write “it” out and to be heard.... even if she’s the only one to ever listen... a place for her to write on the lines or to color outside of them... a safe place for you. #dreamoutloud 📷 #sepassociateemily @emilyann_whited

  • It's easy to praise God when everything is going great in your life and you have the wind at your back but what about those times when the wind of life blows against you.

During this past week of CFM's five day of combined prayer and fasting my boss calls me in and informs that at the end of the month I will either have less work hours which means less pay or I'll be retrenched.

But Lord, I'm praying and fasting. So André came the question " Are you going to be all morbid and depressesd or are you going to trust me (God) and doing it rejoicing?" I realised that if I chose to be all depressed and stuff indirectly I would be acknowledging that my boss is my source and strength which she is not.

Therefore I chose to follow the 3 B's - Breathe, Believe that nothing is impossible for God and Be not anxious about anything but Be THANKFUL in every situation. In this way I'm acknowledging my life is in His Hands.

Do you think our attitude reflects our relationship with God? Would love to know your thoughts.

  • // KINGDOM IDENTITY WEEK 2 // It's our week 2 on our Journal Chat series and this week our Kingdom Affirmation is "I am rooted. Built up, established in my faith and overflowing with gratitude." ✨

Focusing and meditating on the powerful scripture Colossians 2:6-8 ✨ "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives with Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught and overflowing with thankfulness. See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ." ✨

Having a solid biblical foundation is a must as we grow in our spiritual walk. This week our focus is to create a schedule to dig deeper and study God's word. Comment below and tell us your thoughts on practical ways you're going to build this faith foundation and start creating space for spiritual growth ✨

  • One of my absolute favourite stories of the bible is the story of Joseph in Genesis.
Joseph was one of twelve brothers. His brothers were very jealous as their father favoured Joseph. They were angered when he had he interpreted His own dreams to mean that one day he would rule over their family (Genesis 37:5-11). All this made the brothers dislike Joseph even more. Because of this one day His brothers plotted against him and sold him as a slave in Egypt.
Whilst in prison, Pharaoh had several disturbing dreams and summoned Joseph to interpret these dreams for Him. Upon interpreting these dreams for Pharaoh, he was impressed with His wisdom and appointed him to oversee all the land in Egypt. Even when he was reunited with his brothers years later, he was full of love, and forgiveness.

What I love about this story is that God used all of what had caused Joseph to be imprisoned, betrayed by his brothers, and almost destroying his life, to prosper him. The very gift that Joseph had that caused all of this, God used to empower him. "So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God. He made me father to Pharaoh, LORD of his entire household and ruler of all Egypt” Genesis 45:8

Josephs’ brothers believed that they had caused something bad to happen in his life. But Joseph never gave up. He never lost or gave up on his gift, and that very gift gave Joseph power.
Do not give up on your gift. You may feel like throwing it away. You may feel like others do not like you because of your gift. But God sees it, He loves you and provided you with the very gift that will one day soon make you prosper in this world and in Heaven. Do not lose sight r be afraid to voice your gift, if Joseph had kept his gift quiet, he never would have overseen the land in Egypt – trust in the Lord and He will do the rest!

  • Sorry I had to put them together because my bible cut the verse off lol. Lately Mark 12 has been standing out to me. The last sermon I went to was on Mark 12 and the verse I memorized this morning was Mark 12:30 (one of my favs:)). I was surprised when I opened up to Mark 12 and realized that was one of the passages mentioned that stuck out to me in the sermon.

Mark 12 begins with a story told by Jesus (with a lot of foreshadowing and imagery) about a man who plants a vineyard. He allowed farmers to rent it and moved. Shortly after, he sent servants one by one to the vineyard and they were all injured or killed. He sent his son (representing Jesus) and he was killed so the tenants would take his inheritance. “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.” He mentions the most important commandments: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength & Love your neighbor as yourself.

The verse posted mostly stuck out to me because Jesus was watching a crowd put in offerings, he noticed the rich put in a lot of a money, but there was a widow. This poor widow put in 2 small coins. Jesus makes a big deal to say that the widow gave all she had even if it meant poverty.

Sorry this was long, but it was definitely a good read!<3 Remember, Jesus sees your acts of kindness, your love for others, or maybe your generosity, and he loves it. Jesus loves watching us give all we have to him, and allowing God to take control.
