  • Who said “breakfast”?
    Russian blini:
    Ingredients:
    500g of milk
    3 eggs
    30g of sugar
    pinch of salt
    20g of sunflower oil

    Whisk eggs with sugar and salt until bubbles.
    Add to the egg mix about 150g of milk and mix well. Add half of the flour and mix, then add the rest of it and mix again. Make sure there is no lumps.
    Add the rest of the milk with 1 spoon of sunflower oil and mix well. Leave the "dough" for 10-15 minutes to chill. Preheat your frying pan with a bit of oil in it.
    When the pan is hot pour a bit of the "dough" on it by using a ladle. Do not pour too much, blini should be thin. When you see bubbles all around the pancake turn it over and fry another side.
    When it is ready (has golden colour and little holes) let it to cool a bit on a plate. Serve with jam, butter, nutella and whatever you can imagine.
    Fluffy pancakes:
    Ingredients:
    300g of milk
    50g of butter
    180g of flour
    1 egg
    50g of sugar
    1 teaspoon of baking powder
    pinch of salt

    Mix milk, eggs, melted butter and sugar. In a separate bowl mix together dry ingredients: flour, baking powder and salt and after add it to the egg mix. Whisk it well. Preheat the pan. Pour a little bit of your dough on the hot pan. Make sure your pancakes is not too big, it supposed to be fluffy.
    Fry both sides until it is golden. Serve with honey or maple syrup. .
