  • I am not only a little bit of many things, but I am the sufficient representation of many things. I am not an incompletion of all these races, but I am a masterpiece of the prolific. I am an entirety, I am not a lack of anything, rather I am a whole of many things. God did not see it needful to make me generic. He thinks I am better than that. I was often questioned because of my race, whether I’m too this and too that for a certain race. But hey, we live in a diversity of culture country. It’s okay to be mixed as long as you see the beauty of it. My mum always told me to see the silver lining in every situation, to always be positive and embrace it in our lives. So yeah, I’m proud to be mixed race because I have the privilege of celebrating different types of celebration according to my multiracial background and experience each race’s uniqueness. 🥰🙏🏼💕

  • Reposted using @EasyRepost "So some of you asked me regarding my advocacy, on how to promote a healthy lifestyle through sports?

I’ll answer in brief because it would be a long essay if I had to explain everything in detail. .
    .
So basically, engaging with sports has multiple health benefits. Sports or physical activity can reduce the risk of dying prematurely from noncommunicable diseases as well as developing illnesses ranging from cardiovascular diseases, cancer and diabetes to stress, anxiety and depression. It also helps prevent and reduce hypertension, control body weight, prevent and control treat osteoporosis and manage chronic pain. .
    .
While it is critical that everyone regularly participates in sport or physical activity, regardless of our age, ability, gender or background, sports or physical activity provides additional benefits to certain groups, for example: .
▶️ Among young people, physical activity contributes to healthy bones, efficient heart and lung function and improved motor skills and cognitive function. .
▶️ Among women, physical activity helps prevent hip fractures and reduce the effects of osteoporosis. .
▶️ Among older people, physical activity enhances functional capacity, helping maintain quality of life and independence.

Most of these health benefits can be obtained from at least 30 cumulative minutes of moderate physical activity each day. Additional benefits can be obtained from additional activity. Appropriate forms of physical activity include a broad range of activities, such as walking, climbing stairs, dancing and so on.

Sport can further contribute to priority health issues, including as a tool to mobilize societies in support of immunization campaigns and in HIV/AIDS programming campaigns too.

I hope you guys will find this brief info handy as most of us takes our health for granted. So love yourself and care for your health because YOUR BODY IS YOUR TEMPLE 😊💪🏼 #MissUniverse #MissUniverseMalaysia #TNMUM19 #BeautyBeyondYou #CassandraDeviJeremiah #TeamCassie #TeamCassieDJ #NotJustABeautyQueen #ASportAddict " by @cassiejeremiah

  • This girl is stunning!
RepostBy @saroopdeep_roshi: "I’m Saroop Roshi and this is a little bit about myself. I started working when I was 18 just for some side income and I started to become the breadwinner of my family when I was 20 after I lost my dad when I was 19. I had to take a gap year off my studies after I completed STPM so that I will be able to earn some money for my mom. Knowing how much I love studies, working was something I never considered doing. It wasn’t easy I swear to God. I worked as a waitress, salesperson, promoter, teacher, barrista, beauty consultant but honestly I am thankful for all the jobs I did because it was indeed an eye opener to how difficult life really is and I learnt the value of money. Being depressed for almost 5 months and still grieving over the loss of my papa all alone without having any family by my side. I tried to commit suicide 7 times but that's another story entirely. Being papa's baby girl and a spoilt brat, to make the decision to come to a huge city like KL at the age of 20 was daunting to say the least. However, I did it despite the fact that my entire family (including extended family) were against my decision. I wasn't allowed to make my own decisions and was told to just listen to what they had to say. Everyone used to tell me to join the government sector, some told me to just start working and others told to me to get a diploma and settle for a wealthy man but I had my dreams. My own dreams. So, the first step I took was to come out of the negative pit that was holding me back. I moved to Kuala Lumpur alone, found a place to stay and got a job to survive. Bit by bit I started doing modelling. Not an easy industry to be in but I try everyday. And today I am beyond blessed to be where I am. I am not rich and no where near financially stable but I am happy. I always believed in myself and my visions despite what others had to say and I urge you to do the same because you and only you are your own limit, nothing else, nobody else.

  • #Superlongpost ALERT ‼️
Not a fan of posting sth captured through selfie- cam but..
    .
    //Joking about my face being a joke//
    .
(FYI I am very good at self- defeating humor & FYI self- deprecating joke can either enhance or undermine one’s #mentalwellbeing depending on the context and I make sure that I am doing it befittingly)
    .
So, talking about my face is a joke yea.
I mean I myself also always joke about this with my mum, and my mum will also be like “yea, but it’s okay, you can be a comedian because whenever people see you, they laugh hahha” (Sounds not too bad right hahaha)
    .
I am a person who can score quite high in my agreeableness. I will not deny that statement about how I look. Even I myself think this way most of the time too, especially during the time when I was mentally and physically unhealthy, which was clearly reflected through my appearance. .
I remember there was once when we were asked to face to the mirror and talk whatever we want to the mirror self as our dance instructor wanted us to find our real selves.

I looked at myself, I cried until I could not even breath. Because the first thing that came to my mind was “who is this ugly sh*t, why do you even exist on this earth?”.
    .
Until now, I still could not escape from this dysfunctional habit of thinking how bad I look, not to mention of thinking about to what degree I am deserved to compete for the pageant title.

I believe natural beauty exists that it comes from facial symmetry. I know I don’t look perfect for that standard, and my half- done braces even make things worse(but still grateful that I am given all functional body parts and organs).
    .
But, at the same time, I also believe that beauty has come to become a commodity, which is to be consumed, thus to be produced to meet the demand of the powerful community. That’s why we see the standard of beauty is dynamic across time and space: sometime at some place big eyes is the trend, sometime V-shape jawline wins, some place honors long neck etc.

So, L&G, good news is you can be beautiful and looking good in a lot of ways, which is all up to your own standard as long as you stay HEALTHY & HAPPY:)
