  • Happiness does require struggle! Soldering a dozen of time til 2am I finally put all main pieces joined together. 😥🤯 (soldering the second lens was completely a nightmare so I gave it up.) I always want to make crafts and paintings to make travel memories last forever so designing silver pendants is purely out of love ❤️ #archesnationalpark #delicatearch

  • Reminiscing on the time we had the pleasure of trekking through a foot of snow in Arches Nat’l Park in Moab, UT. This was the day before Christmas Eve in 2017. It was our first real time staying in and exploring Moab, although we had driven through it before. We have actually hiked through a Arches in both extremes - very cold & snowy and INCREDIBLY dry and hot. So hot that I fell ill with heat exhaustion after trekking through the high elevation desert for several hours...

Vic and I were laughing at the “trail” sign because the trail was covered in snow and completely invisible. You kinda had to guess how to get up the large rock formations and where to go. Thankfully several others were also hiking out to Delicate Arch that day as getting lost in a snow-covered desert with no visible trail for several miles would’ve been easy. And sucky. 😬...
    ...
You can swipe over to see several other fun shots and video from that hike, including Vic showing his affection for me by pelting me with snowballs. 😑...

    .They don't like us
    .Yeah, I know
    .Why?

I created this instagram explicitly to share photos and to learn from others. I've slowly started to shift away from photography and realized I've been including more stories than intended. It may have also been created to secretly give me a reason to delete my old one for good and never look back. I struggled with what to post as captions, I didn't want to keep writing quotes that I had heard over the course of my life. One day, U2-Sleep Like A Baby Tonight plays and a line stuck out to me, and I thought it'd make a fine caption even if it didn't make sense to anyone but me. Then I thought this is a great way to fill captions! I don't even have to think about it! But I'm kind of tired of using song captions now, maybe I'm running out of songs. I'm also kind of out of photography ideas and content. I'm also kind of busy with picking up old hobbies. I'm also kind of just drained physically mentally and emotionally, which always seems to happen at this time of the year. I'll be posting more random content, which is more like me, I'll be back with photography content at some point! Also if you haven't caught the drift, my last hashtag on each post has been the song title for the caption. For now, I've had enough of these crappy song captions. So I'll stick to captions that makes no sense to 97% of people.

  • Be friends with people who are willing to risk their lives so you can see a large rock with a hole in it. #archesnationalpark

  • One of this regions most visited geological marvels is #ArchesNationalPark in Utah. It sits atop an underground salt bed that was deposited 300 million years ago by a sea that flowed across the Colorado Plateau.
Today it’s a wonderland of balanced rocks, arches and spires that emerge majestically out of the dry barren landscape to form spectacles unlike anywhere else on earth.
America you truly are #beautiful .
