  • Prompt #4 . DRAFT.✨The hardest part is picking up that pencil. Half the battle is won with that first word. And once you get that word down, guess what? You’re a writer. You’re a writer if you never finish a story. You’re a writer no matter how many copies you’ve stored on your hard drive, no matter how many documents you’ve kept to yourself. You’re a writer even if you choose to keep your stories to yourself, for whatever reason that may be, and you don’t owe anyone an explanation for that, either. You don’t need a grand announcement, or a completed, published manuscript. You don’t need a single like or comment. If “you” can read it, that beautiful, messy, draft that came to you at two in the morning in all its harried glory, it’s a part of you, already. And it’s worth every effort. ✨Sometimes, I forget these things, too. I think to myself, I’m just a mom. Truly. JUST A MOM. One who has spent the past 15+ years dedicated to her children in every possible way, with nothing that concrete to show for it. And not that much to show for my beloved hobbies, either. But it’s not pointless. It’s not useless. You have gifts and desires, just the same. Use them and keep at it. Do whatever it takes to be true to you and your calling. It’s important. YOU are important. So that’s my pep talk. To myself and to you, whoever you are that needs to hear it. Don’t give up! Please—don’t give up. Share your art, your hopes, and dreams. There’s someone out there who wants to hear it. Honestly? Share it with me! I love to encourage but as an introvert find it hard to approach people on here. But I’m always available to listen. I’d love to help inspire you. 💛 #peptalk #keepwriting #draft #justkeepgoing #inspiration #hopewriterlife @hopewriters #writing #writer #restore #roughdraft #draft #habits #writersofinstagram #writingcommunity #words #journal #wordoftheyear #verses #scripture #encouragingwords

  • Inspiring people:
Of all of the jobs in this world . . . One of the hardest is being a good teacher. Mrs. Vigen is truly that and so much more. She is an inspiration to me as a business owner, to her co-workers, to her family, to her students, and to her friends. She is a leader who nurtures greatness. This world is a better place because Megan is in it. Our children will become better adults because there are people like Mrs Vigen teaching them. We meet all sorts of people in this world, although when you meet Megan you instantly know that she is someone that you want as your friend. She will push you to be the best person you can be, she will listen to you, she will find the good in every situation, and she will make you feel special. In 50 years her students will more than likely not remember what grade she taught them, or what subjects that they learned. They will however remember Mrs. Vigen who made them feel like they were somebody special, who made them feel that they could be anything that they wanted to be. The teacher that loved them, and most of all she inspired them to be the best version of themselves that Mrs Vigen knew that they could always be.

One of the most important things about nutrition and weight loss is to get your calories right.
When your goal is to lose weight then you NEED to be in a calorie deficit. All the diets out in the world get you to do this is one way or another. If you are using more calories than you put into your body you will lose weight.

A couple of ways you can achieve this,

    1. Count and track your calorie intake.
There are some fantastic apps out there that can help and make it easier, one such as MyFitnessPal, or another fantastic app which I use and recommend is the FlexFood app.
    2 Exercise more…
If you exercise you increase the body's calorie consumption and therefore you can put yourself in a calorie deficit.

It is that simple, burn more calories than you put into your body and the weight will go.

If you want more information read my blog post at https://www.archangelfitness.co.uk/calories-101/
Which shows you one way to calculate your calorie intake and some more info on calories.
